We enjoy the opportunity to show prospective parents around. Our school tours consist of a welcome by some of our Year 6 Leaders; a session with our headteacher, Mr Beavan; time in Early Years with our EYFS lead, Mrs Corbett; and a tour around the site. If you wish to get a feel for the school before visiting, please see our newsletter page which we feel will begin to demonstrate what life at Wessex is all about.
Each tour begins at 9:15am and will finish by 10:30am. If you need to leave earlier, please indicate this when booking a place.
The dates for the tours are:
Thursday 10th October - Fully booked

This year, we are also offering the chance for pre-school children to come to school and spend some time in our reception environment and meet some of the staff. This also gives parents the opportunity to meet the staff and speak to them about life at Wessex.

Tuesday 12th November 9:15 - 10:00
Thursday 28th November 9:15 - 10:00

Children can start full-time at school from the September following their 4th birthday. Applications for a place must be completed through the Borough's admissions page – the deadline for this is always in the January before they start school. You can submit your online application from early in November of the year before your child starts school.
Our admissions process is managed by the Local Authority. You can find out more information about timelines, processes and procedures on their webpage or by downloading their guide to admissions.
