Year 5 PE

We will expect children dressed in PE kit on their PE days, please ensure that as the weather gets colder that tracksuits are worn.

Your PE days are now Monday and Wednesday

Home Learning

Home learning is set every Monday and is due in the following Monday.  This is done on Seesaw and MyMaths. Details are available in the Meet the Teacher presentations.

 

The children are expected to read for 20 minutes per night and should do a quiz on the accelerated reader program in school to show that they have read and to check their understanding.

Times tables remain of utmost importance as it is a foundation of Maths, so children are expected to continue to learn their time tables and increase their accuracy and speed. TTRockstars is a great platform to do this and the children will have received their logins for this in class.

 

PE Information

Both classes have indoor PE on a Monday afternoon and outdoor PE on a Tuesday afternoon. On PE days, the children need to come to school in PE uniform (shorts/tracksuit bottoms, school PE t-shirt, black trainers and Wessex jumper or hoodie). There will be no changing in school.
