Wessex Christmas Trail - Launching 4th Dec

Maps available after school on Thurs and Fridays 25th & 26th Nov and 2nd, 3rd & 4th Dec by the notice board. 

£2 per map or £5 for 3 siblings. Small prize for all maps completed.

Saturday 4th December is the launch date where we will also have a Bottle Tombola, Raffle and Refreshments at the school from 11am - 2pm.

Wessex Summer Fair with a difference!

Inspired by Wessex star Eve who raised an awesome amount from her Driveway sale recently, we've decided to spread out our Wessex fair this year across the whole of Cox Green!

Wessex V Dracula Virtual Balloon Race

Welcome to Wessex V Dracula - our FIRST-ever Virtual Balloon Race!
This is a computer simulated race - 100% eco-friendly with no risk to any wildlife and your balloons are trackable online for the 7 day race!!!

You can decorate and customise every balloon you buy changing parameters to vary the risk and excitement which will rely on real-time weather as they launch from Dracula's Castle in Romania (on Google Maps) on 31st October!

The winning balloon is the one that has flown the furthest, as measured in a straight line from the launch location. Note that a popped / burst balloon can still win if the wind direction changes and sends the still-flying balloons backwards in a reverse direction.

Every balloon you buy will make a difference to the profit Wessex will make from the race and we will publish all results after the race has concluded. If you could share this event with your family and friends, we would really appreciate it.

Wessex PTA is always trying to raise funds to make our school as great as it can be for all our children. Budgets have always been tight but 2020 is even tougher losing out on the usual revenue from Summer and Christmas Fairs. We'd really like to keep up some momentum as the school are hoping to invest in some big outdoor play equipment but are also in need of more laptops and books. Please get involved, join the fun and buy as many balloons as you wish!
